The emotion of feeding

Food nourishes. For the unborn child the  world of food is introduced by the mother. Yes, in the womb itself. I remember my son kicking me inside during  second quarter of pregnancy, specially when I ate pakodas. I commonly thought that my  dear child would be a real foodie. Before seeing the light of the big wide world , I presumed his food choices. I even thought of nicknaming him "Pakoda". In my experience, I have encountered numerous instances when stray animals have been loveingly and affectionately fed by passersby. The feeders are high on emotions keeping to the fact that they are nurturing innocent, young,speechless animals who cannot speak for themselves. The animal feeders casually ignore the status of  animals as "animals", who can bark,bite, kick, push and what not. The river of emotions while feeding is more swift when they nurture the new borns.
