The printed boundaries, lines and dots told stories of the world of exploration, voyages, invasions on the Blue planet, Earth.The seas, the oceans, mountains and rivers, the blowing of winds and the flowing of currents had been marked and displayed by the swift hands and meticulous minds of the cartographers. With the changing stories of the world, physical or political,the lines and the dots shifted, adjusted and even disappeared. The rooms of the defense and political masters, colleges and schools possessed wall size maps. Maps had been a proud possession of the young and the old. After few decades of technology the views and visuals have changed. The maps today are an integration of time , speed, space and direction with innumerable possibilities, permutations and combinations. The stills of map have got motion, speed and direction. The Apps, the google, the clicks, the buttons have shrunk the world of our good old maps.
