A happening place

Never in history have we witnessed such fast modes of communication. With a blink of the eye messages reach their destination. Telecommunication has reached an astronomical height where network tools facilitate a waterfall of information, messages, entertainment, games etc. Communication now is faster than our thoughts. All new human arrivals are growing speedily. With no time to waste, they prefer typing than any cursive book. A is for astronomy, B is for bytes, C is for content and D for them has to be Digital. The rocket age language is getting shorter day by day with fewer ifs and few buts. Be it deep sea or high up, possibilities are endless. No wonder, the world has become a happening place.

The magic of Big B

The Big B is a phrase now.The KBC show on TV puzzles us.As if Mr Amitabh Bachchan is talking to us and welcome in every Indian house hold with full honour and grace. It is his humble attitude that wins him over thousands of others from his professional field.Being gifted with a golden balance for every word he speaks, the biggest superstar converses with the mountain of ordinary citizens with an ocean full of patience. His mannerism is a training school for the small, young and old alike. ti Mr QAmitabh Bachchan enters ever Tv room with his

Saved again in Delhi blast!

A terror attack followed by a red alert, followed by oscillating ambulances, hyperactive reporters, unconsolable victims and a rain of insensitive politicians. As helpless spectators, we thank GOD for sparing us this time. Saving us from the horror of death. Till the next time, have faith in GOD.

Global protests

Citizens learn to react now, There is action on streets now. The tricolor is above all, Symbols are no longer seen now. The infection of corruption is bound to be cured now,

Overcooked meal

Today all the aspects of movie making are so easily accessible to the audience. Starting from the birth of the story and the concept of making a movie, to fixing the appropriate faces and actors into the frame, to the chemistry between the director and the actors, to the inclusion and exclusion of big and small stars for some extra or less weight, to the signed and unsigned contracts, to the replacement or addition of a song or a dance number, to the controversy of an item song, to the star's training at the gym, to the burning of posters--etc Finally when the movie gets ready for release, the audience is forced to taste the mixed flavours of an overcooked meal. Thanks to the media

Cocktail of emotions

Blends of various types of emotional platters are fed to us with every crack of dawn in our daily newspapers. Politics and scams are the key ingredients. Bollywood adds spice. Some arouse and others annoy. Reading terror, assaults, robberies and horrifying climate changes repel us. We also experience peace and relaxation while reading success stories of real heroes and underprivileged students cracking exams like the IIT. We feel excited while reading through every brick and wall of our national development. Day after day our printed buddy ignites, agitates, stimulates and motivates us. A single piece of paper exhibits items that pump in mountain high spirits as well as deep distress. Every morning our emotional gradient takes a ride in the smooth and rough ways of life.

The committee in question

The common man, is a prey to corruption in all segments of the civic society, yet is devoid of the time and courage to stand against the pillars of fraud. The crucial agitation ignited by Anna Hazare needs a constant support of genuine and honest citizens. The civic society has been so badly bitten by the family bug of the Indian politicians that any apolitical family who actively participates in the nations’ welfare is looked down upon in suspicion. The father and son are as much a part of the voice against corruption as any other member of the drafting committee of Lokpal Bill. To suspect the intensions of worthy members will further loosen the grip of the nation against the real issue. The rightly initiated cleanup of the corruption drenched society is more desirable for the nation. Each participating member is a vital force. In the moment when corrupt politicians are busy probing the loose ends of the strong drafting committee for an anti corruption bill, let the nation stand stro

Face book

Being connected, makes us contented. Keeping in touch has a sweet massage, Who care if the spelling shakes, and message becomes massage and massage into message. Likes and dislikes, Are shallow yet deep. Click the mouse, And many hearts beat. Happy birthday comes with a reminder, Post a wish till it goes into a trash grinder. Chat out your heart and mind, That's the best way to bind. The rich have active accounts, Richer they get with friends' confirmations day in and day out. Cascade of words and notions, Brings home an eruption of emotions. You becomes u, And dad becomes dude. All is well , Till all are friends. Oh hi!i think I no u, No,but I'm on the face book.

metal detectors of modern India

security checking is the need of the hour in our terror struck nation. Our well dressed guards at all vulnerable entry points in the city go through a tough practice with every click of the clock. When all the goods are scanned by the security machinery, our very faithful guards quickly surf the people. After all, its safety, of the people, for the people and by the people.Irrespective of our name, cast, creed and color the metal detectors scrolling our body boast the feeling of national integration.

The lost game

With the lack of fire to win for the nation, CRICKET IPL Matches are back with a multicrore business. Indian cricket once tasted like addictive drugs with flavors of long off, mid-on, mid-off, cover, extra cover, slip and deep long leg. Every player tried his best to spice up the game with his patriotism. The rare sight of the national heroes was like GOD’s incarnation for his devotees. The devotees are now losing the piousness, as the heroes are sold to their masters. The national heroes have become paid puppets.

Shelters or Malls

Delhi needs more shelters than malls. With the innumerable poor entering Delhi in search of job, food and money megacities are overloaded. Delhi state is in a sorry state as far as sheltering the poor is concerned. The government authorities can afford to join hands with skyscraper builders to lay bricks for the palacious shopping malls and ignore the basic utility the city badly needs, the night shelters.

Bharat Ek Khoj

A mega serial telecast on Doordarshan in the good old days talks of Indian history. Every bit of it is showered with nostalgia and provides the taste of the thrilling scoops of life in ancient India. The Kings, the worriers and the Slaves depicted in the 54 episode presentation sprinkle mixed flavors of royal Hindustan. The explicit narration revolving around the changing society creates an ocean deep impact. Young Indians in 2011 need to catch up with the roots down the ages to nourish the modern tree to bloom into scented flowers of morality and bear the fruits of mental peace, strength and dignity. The better we understand our past, the best we can justify our moments for future.

It didn’t click to click

Chandni Chowk, the heaven for sellers and a treat for buyers, a market for the big, the small and all. An ocean of goods is bound to puzzle the consumers. The big brave buyers reach their destination laden with power and positive energy. They pursue this day in and day out with a cascade of nagging questions in the innocent, helpless minds. “Why is there so much filth and litter all around? Why are the roads dug and mutilated? Why do beggars bloom at all corners? Where are the public conveniences hidden?” Its hats off to the humans who face the filth with the best of their acceptance and patience. Tourists too enter Chandni Chowk, the heaven with a bucket of enthusiasm. With their loaded cameras they click the sweet and sour memories of the buyers’ paradise. To me it really didn’t click to click.
